I first heard about Amatsu in August 2016 from a gym instructor at my local Sports Centre when, in the middle of a class, she had us all take our socks off and rotate our big toes!
I was fascinated as she chatted away about this amazing therapy which doesn’t just treat the symptoms of pain/dis-ease, it looks at putting the body in a balanced state so it can heal itself. What I found most interesting was how the muscles are all linked to our organs and energy meridians so we need to look at the bigger picture of what is happening in order to understand what could be wrong.
That one moment changed everything for me and she knows I will forever be eternally grateful that she is my lollipop (See the brilliant Ted Talks “Everyday Leadership” https://www.ted.com/talks/drew_dudley_everyday_leadership)! Thank you Maria!
Within a month or so I had contacted the lovely Jane Langston at the award winning Amatsu Training School, had a treatment with the also lovely Gina Lilley at Amatsu Clinics UK and signed up for the 2017 course!
After what seemed like a whirlwind two years of lessons, intense homework, case studies and our final exams I have finally qualified with a Distinction to become a Level 2 Amatsu Practitioner (Anma and Seitei)! I have passed an Emergency First Aid at Work + AED Training Examination and am continuing with my Amatsu Studies at Level 3 (Shinden) in 2019/2020.
I am fully insured and am a member of Amatsu Therapy International. Please visit their website for more information www.amatsutherapyintl.com
